Weekdays offer a much quieter experience with significantly fewer visitors. If you prefer a calm beach day, visit Monday through Friday.
Playa Najayo has a strip of beachfront restaurants serving fried fish, seafood, and cold drinks. The restaurants are simple, open-air structures with tables overlooking the water. Fresh fish platters with tostones and salad are the specialty. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. This is Dominican beach dining at its most authentic.
